Sumangal Farm House

This compact farmhouse at Rajkot covers just 850 sq.ft area on the ground to free up land for plantation and landscaping and offers far-away views from the first floor, which is designed to take care of future expansion. The house caters to weekend visits by the family and has its living areas fused into one another and a tucked-away bedroom with an attached toilet on the ground floor. The openings are designed to take care of severely hot summers with natural ventilation. The spatial volumes, varying heights of roofs and their coming together in a particular manner, are designed to keep inner spaces cool during its summers.
